February 06, 2013 by mak in Health, Abode

Worker's Soap ($14.50) by Hudson Made, Brooklyn NY, is hand crafted and elegantly packaged in the Western Adirondacks, a place where the hands go rough from the daily ruggedness of the outdoors. Not only for the hands of outdoors-man/woman, Worker's packs natural pumice and organic oils to exfoliate, cleanse and moisturize, crucial for taking care of your hands and body, all while enjoying the 'hardy & strapping' scent of cedar wood, patchouli and tobacco.

Clean Bottle Square

October 05, 2012 by mak in Gear, Health

The Square ($40) is bottle that opens at both ends. This is yet another innovative product born of a bike enthusiast. The accessible design prevents mold and other harmful growth and allows for really easy cleaning and drying.  While the body is food-grade stainless steel, the lip of the bottle is not- preventing that strange metallic taste. Clean Bottle donates 10% of its profits to water friendly eco-charities (awesome), and the Square is guaranteed for life.
